Hi,

I’m Bex. Welcome, I’m glad you’re here. A little about me. I began practicing yoga in 2009 during a time when my body was asking for something gentler, steadier, and more honest. In 2011, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Moksha Yoga in Chicago and have been teaching ever since. After several years of teaching in Illinois, I followed a pull west and eventually landed in Arizona, where both my life and my work began to slow down and deepen.

In 2021 I completed my 300-hour training in yoga therapeutics and am now an E-RYT 500 with more than 15-years of teaching experience. Over the years, my teaching has shifted from focusing on what the body can do to listening for what the body actually needs. Today, my work centers on nervous system regulation because when the nervous system feels supported, everything else has a chance to soften.

I’ve been sober for three and a half years. That choice didn’t come from a single dramatic moment, it came from realizing my nervous system was exhausted. Alcohol had been a way to cope, to come down, to disconnect. Sobriety created the space for me to learn how to regulate without numbing and how to feel safe in my body again. Practices like yoga, breathwork, meditation, somatic movement, and Yoga Nidra became not just things I taught, but ways I lived.

This lived experience is at the center of my work. I support people who are over-stressed, sober-curious, or simply tired of pushing through life in a constant state of activation. My approach is gentle, practical, and grounded. I believe yoga is for every body, and that healing doesn’t come from forcing change, but from creating the right conditions for your system to settle and trust again. I’m deeply passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves in a way that feels sustainable, honest, and kind.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me in school. Yes, that’s right, I returned back in college in 2025 working my way towards becoming a therapist and social worker. Some of my favorite pastimes are hiking, jogging or biking, spending time with my pets, and exploring local restaurants.

If you’re here because you’re craving more calm, more clarity, or a different relationship with your body, your nervous system, or alcohol, you’re in the right place.

xoxo
